The presentation gives an overview of the status and latest results from treatments using the TOOsonix HIFU systems in several European centers. The method is concluded to be safe and overcome some of the disadvantages of therapeutic lasers, that work by penetrating thermal damage of very high temperature, consequently leading to problems with significant pain and problematic wound healing. Prof. Serup invites dermatology departments on all continents interested in this new method to cooperate on further generation of clinical data.
